The Knowledge Sharing Program(KSP) is a project supervised by the Ministry of Economy and Finance with the objective of, as its name suggests, sharing with developing countries Korea’s unique experience of significant economic growth over a relatively short timeframe. HIRA has participated since 2014 by providing consultations in partnership with the World Bank. Thus far, HIRA has shared the expertise it has gained through operating Korea’s health insurance system(medical fee management, health accounts, etc.) with various countries, including Indonesia, Peru, and Colombia. HIRA will continue working with international bodies on multi-party consultations and hopes to gradually broaden the function of and eligibility for such consultations.
